Maintenance Supervisor at KONE Corporation

Job description

KONE is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor - Elevators - Escalators for Nairobi, Kenya, to plan, manage and control the field service operations for the area from a maintenance side and to set up and follow the maintenance plan. Our team is comprised of maintenance professionals who provide onsite service to our customers. We are looking for a confident leader to manage the maintenance process and deliver quality solutions to our customers.

The successful candidate will work towards ensuring quality service, improving equipment safety and performance as well as promoting regular and proactive on-site communication to customer and the people using the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure safe, high quality and complete-on-time delivery of KONE solutions within budget
• Act as the KONE interface to customers and other stakeholders
• Support the sales team in pre-tender and tender activities
• Accountable for the delivery of the installation of KONE projects
• Participate in the sales and installation hand-over and validate the term of the order received from the customer together with the salesperson
• Prepare the overall installation program and resource planning
• Responsible for administrative activities of the project including daily human resource management (absences, time sheet review/approvals) and report project progress (schedule, installation hours, fitter time sheets, budget and risk analysis) to superiors
• Maintain project documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the elevator and escalator industry required
• Excellent English language skills
