Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, the Stores Assistant is responsible for controlling all packaging items, equipment and tools in the packhouse and to ensure that records of their movements are always updated.
Areas of focus also relate to ensuring that the correct packaging material is received into the packhouse and issued to the production floor.

Candidates must have;

• a Diploma in Supply Management
• good attention to detail
• good understanding of customer specifications
• good organization, communication and Interpersonal skills
• computer literacy

The role is based on a full 6 day working week.

Details:

The Factory/EPZ Manager will be fully responsible for the entire EPZ Area (covering the Veg and Roses Packhouses) and to ensure that Industry and Company standards are adhered to, with any corrective action implemented.  This includes overseeing site logistical operations, including equipment, machinery and fabric maintenance. Responsibility will also cover oversight of the expansion of new facilities and project management.

Key competencies outlined below;

• Degree educated with a minimum 10 years’ experience in a busy Packhouse/Site/Plant environment and fully conversant with factory operations  in the food processing industry
• Well versed in factory building and project management
• Fully proficient in Kaizen, Lean management and processing techniques
• Strong administration, site management and people management skills
• Ardent advocate of systems and procedures, good manufacturing standards and other social welfare standards
• A specialist in organization, production and supply chain management
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker with excellent crisis management skills and able to bring solutions to the table

The AAA Head Office Agronomy Team is looking to strengthen the team.

• Holder of a BSc Horticulture or Agricultural Economics
• Hands-on experience in a growing environment (minimum 1-2 years’ work experience post-graduation)
• Knowledge of the Fresh Produce industry – familiarity with standards and certifications
• Good computer literacy
• Good numerical, planning and communication skills
• Able to live in Nairobi and work Monday-Saturday (full days and work flexibly)
