    Regulatory Affairs Assistant: Animal Health (Fixed Term Contract)

    Job description

    IQVIA is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Assistant for a leading Animal Health client based in Nairobi, Kenya. Successful candidate will be expected to travel. This role is a Fixed Term Contract. 

    Job Description:

    • Manage the Regulatory database by maintaining proper regulatory records for the East Africa territory.
    • Assist with submission of promotional materials to the regulatory authorities.
    • Assist the RA personnel with the compilation of registration packages to the regulatory authorities.
    • Administrative – Co-ordinate the filing (hard copies and electronic copies) of RA documents in a timely manner, arranging payment and submission of RA documents.
    • Handle administrative requests and queries from RA personnel.
    • Fheir JD unless you want them in BLUE system.JD.ause we already have the LTRollow-up with the invoices from the Local Technical Representatives.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Qualification

    • Diploma in Business Administration
    • Microsoft Office certifications

    Experience

    Business Administration experience (2 years)

    Key Objectives/ Deliverables:

    • Regulatory maintenance of existing product marketing authorizations
      • (Assistance with product regulatory compliance by (e.g.: submissions of variations, renewals, notifications, commitments etc where required)
      • Assisting with preparation of Regulatory submission package
      • Assist with the completion of submissions and follow up until registration approval
      • Keep updated on relevant regulations in the territory
      • Assist RA personnel with any Global Product requests (e.g.: variation requirements and ad hoc requests)
    • Regulatory database
      • (Ensure compliance to procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper regulatory records (e.g. hard copies and electronic copies on the affiliate database))
      • Ensure the accuracy of the information (products, dates etc) kept in IQVIA ’s Reg. Database e.g. RAPID
      • Coordinate appropriate electronic and/or physical archiving (within 14 days from approval notifications)
      • Promotional materials
      • (Assisting in checking content of final submissions for the approved promotional materials in compliance with existing regulations)
      • Check content of final submissions to the Regulatory Authorities (check cover letter, references and leaflets)
      • Follow-up with Regulatory Authorities on promotional material submissions & approvals when required
    • New Registrations (non-EU)
      • (Assist RA personnel to obtain new registrations in East Africa)
      • Writing of local submission documents (cover letter, application forms…) when required
      • Assisting with labelling translation (English /Kiswahili)
      • Requesting of local fee payments

    Marketing Associate: Animal Health (Fixed Term Contract)

    IQVIA is looking for a Marketing Associate for a leading Animal Health client based in Nairobi, Kenya. Successful candidate will be expected to travel. This role is a Fixed Term Contract.

    Job Description:

    Planning and implementation of all the marketing and advertising activities of the IQVIA (East Africa Growth Accelerator) project, led by IQVIA Animal Health and run in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda to maximize impact of the IQVIA goals, revenue growth and market share.

    The role includes significant responsibilities across many marketing disciplines as well as cross-functional coordination with commercial, technical, regulatory affairs, finance and procurement. In addition, the role liaises with the marketing agency that supports the project as well as with IQVIA ’s distributors to help the company achieve its business goals in the region through building strong marketing campaigns.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Qualification

    Relevant degree in Marketing

    Experience

    • A minimum of five (5) years’ proven work experience as a Marketing Associate, Marketing Assistant or similar role
    • Background in the livestock production and animal health

    Deliverables:

    • Planning and Execution of Marketing Plans for IQVIA
    • Ensuring that the marketing objectives for all focus brands are defined, identify customer goals, barriers, triggers and establish action plans (activities may include promotional pieces, customer programs, messages, farmer days and seminars).
    • Plan and execute the roll out – in alignment with IQVIA distributors- of country marketing strategies and campaigns to achieve sales targets in line with specific objectives as identified in the annual IQVIA marketing plans.
    • Drive local implementation of global brand strategies within competitive context
    • Define and drive key opinion leader (KOL) outreach program and maintain KOL network in alignment with technical managers.
    • Establish and roll out new product launch plans.
    • Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly.
    • Coordinate with the Marketing Agency to create advertising material (e.g. brochures and leaflets) and help with launch event planning.
    • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns.
    • Close liaison with the field force to see the customer needs and act accordingly.
    • Monitor competitors’ marketing activities.
    • Coordination of the production and supply of all support material
    • Ensure local compliance and supply of marketing communication items.
      Coordinate the distribution of marketing material to Distributors and IQVIA staff.
      Develop agency briefings and coordinate with the Marketing Agency to create and roll out marketing campaigns (e.g. brochures and leaflets).
    • Customer Centricity
      • Analyse needs and requirements by interacting with customers, consumers and sales teams, determining appropriate market research to determine customer needs and to identify competitive pricing.
        Spend time in the field to support sales teams, meeting customers and gathering feedback on a first-hand basis.
        Effectively develops and uses relationships with external stakeholders to positively impact product/brand performance.
      • Market Intelligence
      • Collect Market Intelligence and proactively develop initiatives to address local issues and ensure business results.
      • Analyze and trend market shares on a quarterly basis.
    • Operating Expenditure (OPEX) Control
      • Contribute to OPEX control through spending in line with Plan.
