    Branch Supply Chain and Fixed Assets Accountant

     

    Job Details

    Fixed Asset Maintenance (All OPCo’s and Branches), raising a PAR, capitalization, depreciation, impairment and disposal and ensuring Fixed assets register ties to the relevant GL Accounts.

    FOL Control Account Monitoring, handling all related audit queries (Both Internal and External) and planning fixed assets verification and Physical counts.

    Ensuring all SOX requirements pertaining Fixed assets, GIT and Inventory are adhered to besides maintaining accurate accounting for stock in hand and movement both in the inventory ledger and the control account.

    Monitor and respond to SC related queries. Review the MEA SC report submitted monthly by Regional office, for abnormalities in the Kenya and Nigeria numbers.

    Ensuring stock provision are made in accordance with the policy ,prepare and submit SC related AOP, Perform cost reviews and 3rd Party Manufacturer reconciliations as the need arises, Reconcile the cogs and inventory and supply chain accounts and Consolidation of Uganda books into Kenya General Ledger.

    In charge of the Uganda Branch and GL, In-charge of data mining as required by Uganda Revenue Authority from time to time and ensuring VAT reconciliations and all Tax returns are done and submitted to the Tax authorities within the required timelines.

    Account Mgmt Rep III

     

    Job Details

    • The role will work with Food Service Restaurant lead, marketing team and engage stakeholders in the sector in strategy execution to deliver clear objectives within the assigned accounts.
    • Establish and drive agreed growth plans for both existing and new accounts while ensuring sales objectives are achieved.
    • The role will do technical and commercial presentations to customers through detailing products which will be aligned through Service Level Agreements.
    • Develop and execute a clear FSR sales funnel, forecast and manage projects to completion.
    • Analyze customer information for process and customer experience improvement opportunities. Develop reports as required for your managers, as well as Sector or Marketing leads, detailing: competitive environment; opportunities for sales, product, or service improvement; trends in competitive landscape; and recommendations to improve lead generation, bid, and sales close effectiveness.
    • Facilitate the development of key competencies through transfer of knowledge in value selling, technical skills, industry insights etc. by following prescribed on boarding programs (new hires & peers training programs, double working and selling opportunities).
    • Support and advice customers in forecasting based on customer consumption and ensure right portfolio mix.
    • Achieve set revenue targets.

    Regulatory Specialist (ESA and W. Africa)

     

    Job Details

    • Ensures legal compliance of Diversey’s chemical products to be commercialized in Kenya, Nigeria and other countries Managed by Kenya and Nigeria. To this end, the person ensures a close collaboration and alignment of activities with the countries leadership; trade associations and regulatory bodies in relevant countries and adherence to global regulatory strategies.
    • Activities include the assurance of legal compliance and registration of chemical products, appropriate hazard classification for supply and transport, provision of legal texts on product and transport labels, address customer questions, etc. The person also works closely with the global regulatory affairs service center (GRASC) to ensure that outsourced activities meet regulatory requirements for countries in scope.
    • Align regulatory activities with countries leadership. To this end, create a collaborative working environment and have an understanding of regulatory developments in relevant countries.
    • Ensures that products are registered and authorized in relevant jurisdictions and follows up any issues that may occur to ensure full regulatory compliance
    • To maintain a detailed knowledge, documentation of the legislation, monitor possible changes and influence changes
    • Plans and execute local projects and programs to meet technical and business needs within areas of responsibility based on annual performance, Corporate and Regional business goals. Keep and maintain files and documents regarding product regulatory and compliance. Supports Global initiatives.
