The Kuria Foundation for Social Enterprise (KFSE) was established in 2012 to address the challenges faced by Kenyan sexual and gender minorities (SGMs). These challenges are well known and well documented. They include the legal repression of SGMs through the criminalization of sexual expression between consenting adults of the same sex, culturally encouraged stigma and discrimination of SGMs, high levels of physical and verbal violence, and failure to enact and implement gender-affirming policies or provide gender reaffirming services.
KFSE is looking for an accountat CPA 4 and above to reconcile accounting entries made in 2021 - 2022.
The consultant will also be expected to resolve accounting discrepancies in preparation for submitting the books for external audit.
The task should take no more than three days but must be completed in one week. Interested applicants should indicate their daily rates and experience working with NGO accounting.
