Android UI/Frontend Developer at Refunite

REQUIREMENTS

You’re an Android UI expert
– you’re familiar with material design and a strong prototyper
You’re a coder
– an engineer with an eye for design or a designer who codes
You may have design skills (GIMP, Photoshop, etc…)
– in which case we’re ecstatic
You will be in charge of implementing the app frontend. You are passionate about writing clean, elegant and efficient code that results in great UX. You will work close with our Product Owner and graphical designer to integrate widgets and graphical assets. In addition, you collaborate with our engineering team to interface with the communication stack. It is critical that you design the app for different screen sizes (majority of VGA) in a lightweight manner (low storage and memory footprint).

We prefer you to work in our Nairobi office, but this shouldn’t discourage the perfect candidate from applying and requesting to work remotely. You’ll be travelling to refugee camps to test and learn about our context.
