CFO at Africa Logistics Properties (ALP)

The CFO will report to the CEO and will be responsible for the strategic financial planning, financial management and accounting of the company.   The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for financial administration, treasury, planning, implementing, managing and controlling the financial-related activities.  The CFO will be accountable for oversight of all aspects of the finance and accounting functions as well as management of all related personnel, resources, and contracts to ensure all real property assets are effectively and efficiently maintained to established standards and within established budgets.

The CFO will take primary responsibility for:

• Strategic cash flow, working capital and debt management.
• Managing acquisition cash needs and financing and/or refinancing in connection therewith.
• Monitoring of loan covenants.
• Cultivating relationships with financial institutions to maximize financing options on an ongoing basis.
• Track and monitor current trends in debt and equity markets that are applicable to the firm, and make recommendations on the impact of future financing activities.
• Assist in asset or portfolio level financing activities sourcing and closing debt.
• Build financial models for various real estate related acquisitions
• Lead the effort in the negotiation of loan documents
• Provide hedging strategy expertise
• Maintaining relationships with auditors and represent company as senior point contact for any audits.

• Coordinating management information systems, insurance and risk management, including cyber security.
• Responsible for human resources/ payroll implementation and compliance.
• Communicate, and interact with the Board of Directors, CEO, and shareholders on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare and participate in financial reviews with the Board and senior management.
