Garissa University College (GUC) is a public university in Garissa, Kenya. Garissa University College was founded in 2011 as a constituent college of Moi University, in the facilities of the former Garissa Teachers Training College.
Job Description
An officer at this level will be responsible to the Senior Assistant Dean of Students in performing the following duties; registering students clubs and societies; supervising annual elections for each of them; supervising and coordinating University extracurricular activities programmes obtaining to social clubs and special programmes; and maintaining student’s records.
Job Specification for Direct Appointment
For appointment to this grade, must be in possession of;
(i) Masters degree in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology or equivalent qualification from recognized university
(ii) At least six (6) years working experience in provision of students services.
