Garissa University College (GUC) is a public university in Garissa, Kenya. Garissa University College was founded in 2011 as a constituent college of Moi University, in the facilities of the former Garissa Teachers Training College.
Job Description
Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve drafting of legal documents and handling cases involving the University in liaison with University external lawyers and advising the University on all legal matters.
Job Specification for Direct Appointment
For direct appointment to this grade an officer must:-
(i) Have a Bachelors degree in law from a recognized university;
(ii) Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current practicing certificate.
(iii) Have 3 years’ experience in a similar position or in legal practice.
