    Clinical Officers (Anaesthetist)

    Job Group K

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Provide anaesthetic care for surgical operations, before the operation, during the operation and after the operation
    • Provide anaesthetic care for patients undergoing non-surgical procedures.

    Basic qualifications:

    • Be a Kenyan Citizen
    • Basic diploma in Clinical medicine & surgery
    • Post basic diploma in General anaesthesiology
    • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
    • Must have good inter-personal and communication skills
    • Must satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

    • Certificate of good conduct from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID)
    • Clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) but exempted for Diploma holders
    • Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
    • Clearance from the Ethics and AntiCorruption Commission (EACC)
    • Clearance certificate from the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
