    Oral Health Officers

    Responsibilities for the Oral Health Officers Job

    • Carrying out non-clinical work, assessing the dental health needs of populations rather than individuals;
    • Managing oral health clinics by organizing and scheduling clinic days, patient flows and referrals
    • Visiting and educating patients on oral healthcare
    • Maintaining patients’ dental records
    • Implementation of community Oral health care programs.

    Oral Health Officers Job Requirements

    • Be a Kenyan citizen
    • Diploma in Community Oral Health from a recognized institution
    • Post-basic Certificate in either Epidemiology, Health Education, Medical Education, Community Dentistry, Conservative Dentistry, Periodontology, Orthodontics/Paedontics or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
    • A minimum of 2 Years’ experience post qualification in a busy dental department.
    • Must have good inter-personal and communication skills
    • Must satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
