Sales Representatives at Uplands Premium Dairies

The Purpose of the Job:

• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets and grow sales month by month.
• Ensure customer complaints and enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
• Implementing General Trade channel strategies, terms and conditions and other best practice in the identified area of operation, ensuring the best advantage for the brand / category is achieved profitably;

Sales Job Responsibilities

• Successful execution of the business and route plans;
• Servicing (including selling, merchandising, accounts growth , planning and implementation, relations building, promotion & activations);
• Ensuring continuous improvement in distribution, merchandising, route coverage, efficient resource utilization ;
• Visiting all trade levels (On-trade, stockiest and Key Distributors) to ensure the brands are listed, visible and activated according to the plan;
• Implementing Class of trade strategies for the brand to the best advantage for each brand in the account;
• Scheduling weekly business review meetings with the Commercial Manager to discuss sales targets, marketing ideas and problem areas, etc;
• Providing daily and weekly activity report;
• Proposing ideas and opportunities that could be available to challenge the competitors’ activities with consideration to the financial implications and reputation of the Company;

Qualifications for the Sales Job 

• A Degree / Diploma – preferably in Sales or Marketing;
• Must have a successful track record as a Sales Representative for at least five years experience from a reputable FMCG company.
• Great oral and written communication skills;
• Good at planning and organizing to ensure priority task management.
• Valid Driving License
