Position Description

• Ensure full compliance to KPI thresholds for Radio and BSS network for their designated region:
o Manage and realize all regional planning and optimization projects
o Validate all Radio project designs for network rollout for the region, including
• Ensures regional capacity requirements are forecast and implemented to meet network requirements
• Resolve customer complaints as per sub regional breakdown for optimization and closure
• Performs complex engineering tasks on the network
• Design so as to require validation at Radio Manager level
• Validate all rollout documents for region (candidates, reports, WO etc.)
• Assess and analyze all optimization activities required for the region
• Resolve customer complaints as per sub regional breakdown for optimization and closure
• Design and implement all optimization activities in the region (Hard and Soft parameters) and all relevant WO’s
• Provide inputs for all Customer regional submission documents (Eng Pack, workspaces etc.)
• Follow up network deployment on all outstanding issues
• Provide all inputs for BSC dimensioning for the region

• Can lecture in customer presentations
• Has done competence transfer to other colleagues
• Supports other specialists in complex cases
• Is capable of applying understanding of one technology to a new technology
• Has worked on planning, measurements and optimization related tools
