AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION NEEDED
• Lecturer - Solar Energy
• Lecturer - Biomass Energy
• Lecturer - Wind and Hydro Power Technology
• Lecturer - Geothermal / Conventional Energy.
• Lecturer - Energy Management.
• Lecturer - Support Courses (Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Design, Project Management, Technical Drawing, Simulation and Modeling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• PhD. Degree or successfully defended Ph.D. Thesis in Energy related field, with specialization in any of the above areas, from a recognized University.
• Applicants with a Masters Degree and at least five (5) years’ experience in any of the aforementioned areas of specialization will be considered.
• Applicants with University teaching experience will have an added advantage.
• Current registration by relevant professional statutory bodies and membership in a professional association will be an added advantage.
For teaching positions above Tutorial Fellow, employment will be on permanent and pensionable terms.
Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract, to the maximum of three (3) years.
The terms of service for the above position include a generous remuneration package.
