    Sales & Marketing Manager

    Experience with sales of processed foods will be an advantage. You’ll be responsible for executing sales strategies in order to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. This position is eligible for annual incentive bonus.

    Responsibilities for the Sales & Marketing manager Job

    • Plan & execute daily sales & marketing function to ensure maximum revenue & profitability.
    • Meeting monthly sales targets for all our customers.
    • Develop & manage the productivity of the marketing plan and report monthly.
    • Develop and implement the marketing plan to increase revenue for all channels of the business.
    • Increase revenue of the existing customer base.
    • Generate & follow up on all potential sales leads and covert to real business.
    • Managing sales through customer visits, online marketing & assist with sales in store.
    • Develop and nurture relationships with key corporate clients including hotels, restaurants and institutions.
    • Manage broadcast, online and in store promotions to increase revenue.
    • Develop new strategies to compete with direct competition.
    • Create and maintain marketing budget and ensures all projects fall within budget guidelines.
    • Introduction of new products to meet customer demand.
    • Development and reporting of new business leads.
    • Sales forecasting and pricing strategy for the month/s ahead.
    • Deliver convertible, relevant site traffic and day-to-day management and review of the online marketing function including PPC, SEO, Email, Affiliates, Social, Content & Retargeting
    • Coordinate activities with social media ambassadors, bloggers and affiliates
    • Co-ordinate and monitor sales activities and RFPs.
    • Maintain customer relationship management and implement systemic sales and marketing standards & systems
    • Provide potential and existing clients with the highest level of sales service.
    • Monitor, review and report on all sales & marketing activity monthly and identify the areas where improvements can be made.
    • Organising events & representing the company at relevant trade exhibitions.
    • Lead, manage and motivate a team to deliver consistent high performance against defined objectives and targets
    • Analysis, selection & purchase of marketing and promotional material.
    • Assisting with customer queries, sales and pricing as required.
    • Use analytics to determine advertising ROI, sales and marketing strategy.
    • Celebrate individual and team success wildly.

    Qualifications for the Sales & Marketing Manager Job

    • Diploma or bachelors education/experience plus four years of FMCG sales in a mid/high-volume commercial food service or food processing operation required.
    • Have a proven track record in proactive FMCG sales and marketing.
    • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software, collaboration and CRM
    • Experience in social media
    • 2 years practical experience in Tier1 retail
