Requirements for appointment
• Diploma in clinical medicine
• Registered with clinical officers’ council
• Valid practicing license
• Knowledge of professional standards
• Computer literate
Duties and responsibilities
• Clinical Diagnosis and treatment of common ailments
• Conduct confirmatory laboratory test to provide accurate treatment
• Provide health education, promotion and counselling to client
• Refer complicated cases for further treatment and management
• Do minor surgery and stitches
• Supervise clinical health services at the primary level.
• Maintain all record and information of patient and client and prepare periodic reporting
• Perform any other responsibility as may be assigned from time to time.
