Requirements for appointment
1. Diploma in any of the following from recognized institution;
i. Diagnostic radiography/medical imaging sciences
ii. Computerized tomography
iii. Magnetic resonance imaging,
iv. Mammography
v. Digital medical imaging equipment
vi. Knowledge of mammography, ultrasound and digital imaging is added advantage
2. Registration with society of radiographers in Kenya
3. Valid practicing license from radiation protection board.
4. Computer literacy
Duties and responsibilities
• Providing radiographic services to the patients;
• processing, verifying and maintain information relating to patients
• Ordering and maintaining records, of radiographic and photographic supplies
• Maintaining medical equipment
• Main accurate record of patients/client and submit periodic report to higher level
