Production Planner at Frank Management Consult Ltd

The production planner will be responsible for planning and managing production schedules to meet production capacity as well as managing inventory levels.

Production Planner Job Responsibilities

• Analyzing and preparing documents needed for production.
• Preparation & maintaining production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization as required
• Report on production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory
• Analyzing sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Managing inventory levels, schedules and availability of selected item, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules.
• Order floor stock with shelf life material for production.
• Review work in process material sweeps from production floor.
• Releasing purchase orders for production material, floor stock items and all purchases to support the business unit.
• Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.

Requirements for the Production Planner Job

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering/Industrial Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ any other related field
• 2 years of experience in a production planning/materials controls with broad manufacturing background
