Qualifications and Expertise required

• Post-graduate degree in Social Sciences, Education, Economics, Project Management, or any related field 
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant professional experience in conducting similar tasks, particularly in market assessments, tracer study, education and livelihoods related research.
• Proven experience in conducting market assessments and similar skills oriented and livelihood studies in the context of Somalia, particularly in the current return areas of Somalia.
• Strong experience in conceptualizing and implementing market, labour, value chains analysis and tracer studies within the context of TVET and preferably in the context of Somalia 
• Experience in conducting market assessments and or other related studies in some of the return areas and other parts of Somalia
• Proven knowledge and understanding of Somalia, especially in the context of TVET and livelihoods programmes.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills 
• Fluency in English
