Job Overview
The job incumbent is responsible for supporting plant management in all quality, safety and environmental systems and guidelines including auditing, training and information and communication

Main Responsibilities

• Define and supervise all quality, safety and environmental systems and guidelines
• Monitor the market in terms of legal changes
• Ensure that relevant information is distributed to the relevant departments
• Support corporate departments by conducting negotiations with external authorities, customers and suppliers
• Initiate and co-ordinate own internal and external quality audits for permits and certification
• Control, monitor and report the budget for the area of responsibility
• Propose the expansion of existing systems and creation of new systems in line with corporate guidelines
• Conduct and co-ordinate all quality, environmental and safety related training.

Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry,Chemical Engineering or related field
• Min. 5 years experience working in a related production environment (food/beverage processing, health and hygiene production, pharmaceuticals, etc.)
• Knowledge of relevant laws pertaining to safety and environmental compliance
• Proficient in English
• Experience in other functional areas of Operations preferred
