    Administrative Assistant

    Job Summary

    The position reports directly to the Senior Resident Medical Officer at the Outreach Medical Centre with a dotted line of reporting to the Patient Experience Manager. The position is responsible for the overall administrative function of the centre and works closely with the
    SRMO to ensure smooth flow of patients from one service point to the next, adequate staffing, optimum stocks for effective running of the medical centre and comprehensive customer feedback management at all times including prompt escalation where need demands.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receiving and correct registration of patients at the outreach medical centre.
    • Obtaining of required pre-authorization from respective medical insurance providers to necessitate provision of medical service
    • Responsible for correct billing for corporate clients and receipting for cash paying
    • Responsible for timely banking of all cash collections, reconciliation and reporting
    • Guide, advice, direct and offer assistance to patients whenever needed
    • Supervise outsourced services e.g. cleaning services and ensure adequate cleanliness is maintained at all times.
    • Responsible for ordering and efficient utilization of general stock items

    Required qualifications, attributes and experience

    • Degree and/or Diploma in Business Management or its equivalent
    • Minimum of five (5) years working experience, two (2) years of this in a supervisory role preferably in the hospitality industry
    • Pleasant personality, excellent communication skills and mastery level of customer service/care skills. Be able to teach and mentor others
    • A team player with high level of interpersonal skills and integrity
