We a looking for a new Regional Business Support Finance Officer (RFO) who will ensure accurate recording of OI RP expenditure and produce timely reports of this expenditure against budgets. The RFO will be the focal point for ensuring that OI RP staff and business processes deliver compliance in the country of expenditure and in line with Oxfam GB rules and regulations. This role will be supporting the Horn of East Africa region (HECA) and the Southern Africa (SAF) region.
The successful candidate will have the ability to collaborate effectively to deliver on these objectives in concert with a wide range of internal business functions. The RFO will be expected to work seamlessly with country, regional, and head office teams using both face to face and remote communications.
The successful candidate will possess significant experience in financial reporting and financial management; a background in finance; possess a high degree of professional integrity; and most importantly, will share our passion for eliminating the injustice of poverty around the world.
Our RFO will be enthusiastic about joining a newly formed team, will have experience of working in a networked way and in a matrix management environment.
JOB PURPOSE
The Regional Business Support Finance Officer (RFO) will provide delivery and technical financial assistance to the OI Regional Platform in the HECA and SAF regions.
