Fork-Lift Operator at Armada Human Capital

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading materials, whether it is boxes or pallets, from trucks when they arrive or depart.
• Create pallets of materials to put on trucks for delivery.
• Fueling the vehicles
• Ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported
• Keeps the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside
• Should able to work long and flexible hours when required.
• Providing other services as requested by the employer
• The candidate will be accountable for the safety of the vehicles at all times.
• Ensure that the vehicles should be used for official use only

EXPERIENCE:

• Should have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in driving.
• Must have a clean and valid driving license.

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of Secondary school education is preferred ;
• Must be a mature, respectful and honest person of high integrity;
• Flexible and ability to stand in for others when required to do so is necessary;
• Should be quick in understanding, keen in taking instructions, and able to work with minimum supervision;
• Should be willing, ready and able to perform other duties as delegated to him/her by the immediate supervisor ;
• Good inter-personal skills;
• Knowledge of English and Kiswahili both written and spoken;

Basic motor vehicle mechanics is a must.
