Patient Care Ambassador at Aga Khan University Hospital

Patient Care Ambassador will enhance patient satisfaction by dealing with day to day patients’ needs.

The specific duties will include;

• Visit patients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction and attend to any of their needs
• Effectively coordinate with all support services and work closely with the Unit in Charges to ensure patient satisfaction and maintain appropriate service standards at all levels.
• Attend to all patients’ queries
• Enter patient complaints in the PCHS (Patient Complaint Handling System) on a daily basis and update it, as complaints are resolved.
• Develop/review the discharge check list and ensure its implementation
• Ensure timely discharge process
• Actively participate in Quality cycle as per the required standards
• Collect & analyse data and make recommendations on service improvement to senior leadership.

Requirements

•    Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in hospitality or equivalent, 5 years' work experience in customer service and possess record keeping and data analysis skills.
•    The ideal candidate should be caring, courteous and polite: and should demonstrate patience, ability to remain tactful and calm in stressful situations.
•    S/he should have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills as well as be fluent in one or more of the following languages: French, Chinese and Somali.
•    The successful candidate must also be proficient in MS Office packages.
