Purchasing Manager at AFEX

The successful candidate will be responsible the entire purchasing of the project, manage all AFEX supplier contracts, and oversee procurement, in accordance with AFEX Policies and SOPs.

Work hand in hand with QHSE to build and maintain an affordable standard of quality in the supply chain that is above the market standard and acceptable to our clients.

Qualifications for the Purchasing Manager Job

• A Degree in Purchasing or relevant field
• 5 years performing a similar role.
• Professional qualifications in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
• International experience with good knowledge of regional market will be an added advantage
• In-depth understanding procurement, logistical and supply chain management procedures
• Fully conversant in International Quality, Health, and Safety (QHSE) Standards
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Strong leadership skills & organizational skills
• Good financial knowledge
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
• High integrity
