Roles for the Maintenance Foreman Job

• Develop specifications for minor works and carry out evaluation in order to prepare the repair register and schedule to show activities being carried out;
• Allocate work to artisans/technicians on a day to day basis to ensure optimum operations are achieved within the institution;
• Coordinate and maintain University equipment and plants to ensure safe use of the tools by junior staff within the department;
• Prepare daily reports for the technicians to ensure all the daily duties are attended to on a timely manner.

Maintenance Foreman Job Requirements

• Must have an Ordinary Diploma in Construction Management/GTT I Certificate in plumbing or equivalent.
• At least KCSE level of Education with a minimum of Grade D+ and above or KCE Division III.
• Three (3) years supervisory experience at Grade 3/4;
