    Marketing Manager

    Roles for the Marketing Manager Job

    • Develop and implement marketing strategy(ies) that result in revenue growth.
    • Develop the company brand both internally and externally.
    • Develop, implement and continuously update marketing policies and procedures.
    • Expand and develop marketing platforms for our products.
    • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities to promote our products. This will include the selection of product and accessories to be displayed during promotional activities and will be done in conjunction with Production, Post-Harvest and R&D teams.
    • Develop pricing strategy for new markets and potential customers in collaboration with the CEO and Finance.
    • Participate in price setting in conjunction with Sales, the CEO, Finance on avails, low season and high season pricing for current customers.
    • Gather market intelligence and monitor market trends, assessing demand for current product, future potential of the current product and potential for new product.
    • Advise on local, national and international factors affecting the buying and selling of our product and provide recommendation on any factors that present challenges.
    • Develop through consultation with the market and with internal departments, new products and determine the best new products to introduce into the market.
    • Develop demand for our product in the market.
    • Introduce new products to the market.
    • Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for our product.
    • Implement and monitor marketing projects / plans with support from the sales team and other internal departments where necessary; –
    • Analysis of market conditions and competitor information
    • Any other duties that may be allocated to you by management

    Marketing Manager Job Result Areas

    • Number of new leads that convert into new customers.
    • Percentage of flowers sold against what is produced.
    • Number of new products developed and accepted into the market.
    • Percentage growth in revenue.
    • Price increments achieved due to implementation of successful marketing strategies
