    Chief Human Resource Officer I (Performance Management)

    Job purpose

    Reporting to the Deputy Director, Human Resource, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in the planning, coordination, organization and general Human
    Resource management services in the hospital.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Coordinating Human Resource performance contracting activities and ensure timely reporting on the same.
    • Coordinating compliance with the values and principles as provided in Articles 10 & 232 of the Constitution and report to the PSCK if and when required.
    • Ensuring that the applicable performance management processes support employee development and continuing improvement.
    • Developing metrics to evaluate individual employee contribution to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
    • Ensuring that employee performance evaluation rating is aligned to the goals and objectives of the Hospital.
    • Coordinating bi-annual performance appraisal reports across the Hospital and provide reports.
    • Encouraging full participation and success of the Performance Management function in the Hospital.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (Human Resource) or its equivalent from a recognised university.
    • Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource management from a recognised institution
      or CPS(K).
    • Senior Management course lasting at least one (1) month.
    • Working experience of at least three (3) years at the level of Chief Human Resource
      Officer II or its equivalent in a large organization.
    • Must be conversant with human resource management information system.
    • Must be a member of the Human Resource professional body (IHRM).
