Qualifications for the Lathe Operator Job

• Minimum of 3years’working experience on various manual lathes.
• Must be able to set up and operate the above mentioned machines with minimum supervision and know and understand all tooling needed to do so.
• Candidate must have good mechanical skills and be able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Independently perform machine set-up – small lot sizes and high variability in work orders.
• Work safely with minimal supervision
• Read blueprints and follow written work instructions
• Diploma Mechanical Engineering (Production Option) or Grade Test II
