    Director - International Sales

    Job description

    The candidate should have over 10 years experience in optical transmission and or networking equipment. S/he will be responsible for directing sales and business development in East Africa to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or related or equivalent.
    • Over 10 yrs of experience in optical transmission and or networking equipment.
    • Flexibility to extensive traveling within East Africa.
    • Candidate should have a flair for people networking and be self-motivated to explore and expand Tejas’ market reach.
    • The roles and responsibilities will include –
      • Identifying opportunities
      • Assistance in market entry strategies
      • Negotiating contracts
      • Supporting channels partners
      • Generating and qualifying leads
      • Preparing and maintaining sales action plans and strategies
      • Planning and conducting direct sales calls
      • Managing product training and marketing seminars
      • Maintaining technical and professional knowledge
      • Monitoring and reporting sales activities.
