Business Manager Beverage Packaging at Husky Injection Molding Systems

Job description

After an initial training period in our European Headquarters in Luxembourg of approx. 3 to 6 months, you will be based in Kenya as part of our African sales team to coordinate and manage ongoing projects, new sales, marketing of our products, serving existing customers as well as developing new business within Kenya. You will operate from home office with assistance from our regional office in Johannesburg / South Africa, and from our European headquarters located in Dudelange / Luxembourg.

During your initial training period you will have responsibility for inside sales support, coordination and project engineering, developing into all sales activities, including the strengthening of customer relationships, responding to request for information, arranging new customer visits and participating in customer projects as well as prospecting designated territories.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive customer responsibility within the Kenyan beverage packaging market
• Surveying business potential in Kenya
• Acquiring new business
• Care of existing customer relations
• Fulfillment of turnover goals in business
• Compilation of quotations, order reports, etc.
• Regular reporting to the BevPack General Manager/Regional Manager regarding customer and project status.
• Updating of customer history and further tools that collect customer data
• Keep regular contact with the service department to ensure customer satisfaction
• Regular widening of Husky product knowledge
• Representation of Husky at events and trade shows
• Frequent travel within Kenya (60% Travel)
• Occasional travel to Luxembourg, UAE, etc.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or similar experience
• At least a two years’ work experience, preferably in technical sales with high-end technology / capital equipment
• Background in injection molding, filling technology and/or industry for the beverage packaging market considered an advantage
• Familiar travelling to and within Kenya
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good time management / organizational skills
• Good command of English language
