    Project Assistant

    Overall Purpose

    Responsible to the Projects Manager, the assistants will work with the team to assist NETFUND accomplish its strategic objectives by providing support services with regard to implementation of projects and monitoring projects in line with the NETFUND project cycle manual and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework and policy.

    Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

    • Participate in development of M & E tools for measurement of project progress.
    • Conduct baseline surveys for NETFUND projects.
    • Participate in data collection, analysis and validation of NETFUND projects for impact reporting.
    • Assist in project design and implementation.
    • Participate in development of project monitoring plans in line with project Logical Framework Approach (LFAs).
    • Participate in development of reports as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related fields;
    • 2 years’ working experience in project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
    • Willingness to learn and keen on personal development.

    Key Competencies

    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques and processes
    • Computer skills (MS Project, Excel, Statistical packages)
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Proven report writing skills.
    • Data collection and management skills.
