Terms of Service: 5 year renewable contract

Salary Scale:  115,290 x 5,770 – 121,060 x 6,050 – 127,110 x 6,240 – 133,350 x 6,420 – 139,770 x 6,610 – 146,380 x 6,790 -153,170 p.m.

Duties and responsibilities

• The Director of Finance will assist the Chief Officer, Finance and Planning in control and overall operations of the Department of Finance and Planning of the County Government of Siaya.

Requirements for Appointment

• Must be a Kenyan Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (Accounting or finance option), Business Administration (Accounting option) or any other relevant equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Passed Part III of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination or its recognized equivalent.
• Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Registered with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
• Have at least 7 years relevant working experience 3 of which must be at a senior management level.
• Certificate in computer proficiency
• Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
