Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule.
• Inspects verify Load, loading offloading to ensure accountability.
• Guides on loading arrangement to ensure axle load conformity as well as ease in workflow.
• Controls stocks -Ensure a receipt of payment for all items offloaded, inspects returnable.  Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Inform customers about new products and services
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow road regulations and safety standards
• Reports trucks failure supervises maintenance to ensure high standards of repairs are done
• Reports licensing one month before expiry.
• Maintenance- Ensure truck maintenance is done as and when it falls due.
• Ensures fueling contacts are achieved.
• Uses tyre maintenance skills –ensures proper inflation and authorized tyre maintenance procedures.
• Performs full truck handover when truck changes hands.

Requirements

• 4 Years Proven working experience as a driver.
• Valid professional driver’s license.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations.
• KCSE Certificate.
