    Chief Manager - Planning, Monitoring And Evaluation

    Grade: KRA ‘7’

    Department: Strategy, Innovation and Risk Management (SIRM)

    Division: Research, Knowledge Management and Corporate Planning

    Supervisor: Deputy Commissioner – RKM&CP

    Supervisee:

    • Manager - Planning
    • Manager - Monitoring and Evaluation

    Job summary: Lead the Corporate Planning process and administration of staff in the PME Section.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Coordinate Corporate Planning function in the Authority,
    • Coordinate implementation, M&E and reporting of the KRA’s Corporate Plan
    • Act as liaison with external parties on matters relating to Corporate Planning activities,
    • Administration, organisation, and control of the staff in the section,
    • Coordinate preparation of Divisional monthly report
    • Deputizing the Deputy Commissioner
    • Attend Departmental meetings

    Academic and Professional qualifications:

    Minimum Academic Requirements

    • Master’s Degree in Economics, Public Policy & Administration, Statistics or related field from a recognized university.
    • Computer literacy in relevant computer packages such as Microsoft Office
    • Specialist Training and Membership to professional Association

    Relevant work experience required:

    At least 10 years of post-graduate experience with at least 5 years at managerial level

    Skills required:

    • Knowledge in tax administration.
    • Managerial skills
    • Leadership skills
    • Analytical skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Coaching and mentoring skills
