    Chief Manager - Ethics Compliance

    Department: Intelligence & Strategic Operations

    Division: Ethics-Policy & Prevention

    Supervisor: Deputy Commissioner - Ethics: Policy & Prevention

    Supervisee:

    • Manager - Corruption Risks Assessment
    • Manager - Ethics Statistics & Corruption monitoring

    Job summary: Monitoring of compliance with policies, standards and strategies that promote ethical conduct within KRA.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop effective compliance programs to ensure adherence by the Authority and staff to the Anti-Corruption framework, policies, and standards.
    • Coordinate Corruption Risk Assessment and Corruption Prevention Planning including stakeholder engagement in corruption prevention.
    • Oversee development and implementation of effective monitoring & evaluation framework for the KRA anti-corruption strategy
    • Coordination of CPCs and IAOs activities.
    • Monitoring compliance with external requirements and stakeholder commitments
    • Overseeing of management and operational reporting.
    • Management of resources in the operational area
    • Any other duty as assigned by the management

    Academic and Professional qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
    • Evidence of cumulative training on not less than three months in the areas of governance, corruption prevention, and management of Ethics programs.
    • Training in Tax and customs administration will be an added advantage.

    Relevant work experience required:

    At least 7 years progressive experience in the areas of governance, corruption prevention, and management of ethics programs, three of which must be at management level.

    • Resilient, focused and results oriented
    • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Motivated, dynamic and dedicated team player
