Job Responsibilities

• Checking vouchers and committal documents in accordance with laid down regulations;
• Preparing financial reports and analyze income and expenditure against budgets;
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliation and reconciliation of debtors and creditors ledgers;
• Ensuring safe custody of financial records, documents, cheque books and assets;
• Initiating budget proposals and financial plans; and
• Reviewing petty cash reconciliation and facilitate withdrawal of cash for office use and ensuring safety of the same at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option) or its equivalent from a recognized university;
  Masters degree in Business Administration (Accounting or Finance Option) or its equivalent from a recognized university will be an added advantage;
• CPA (K), ACCA Finalist or its equivalent;
• Membership of the ICPAK or any other recognized professional bodyin good standing;
• Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks;
• Four (4) years relevant work experience in the public or private institution;
• Demonstrated competence in work performance;
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;
• Proficiency in ICT;
