Finance Manager at NetGuardians

The position

NetGuardians is looking for a talented Finance Manager who will be responsible for providing both operations and programmatic support to the organization. You will supervise the finance unit and will act as the chief financial spokesperson for the organization, across our different regions. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) & co-founder, your standalone role will provide support on all strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the security of new funding.

More specifically, you will:

• Participate actively in the definition of the finance organizational strategies
• Develop financial processes and tools, especially with regards to forecasting capital, identifying monetary resources and developing action plans
• Monitor performance by measuring and analyzing financial results, develop improvements measures and recommendations
• Develop and implement solid project cost control strategy and dashboards
• Set up companywide financial dashboard aiming to have local and global KPIs
• Provide the COO with an operating budget, ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support and compliance with all contractual requirements
• Responsible for accounting and credit management related activities, such as the development and implementation of policies and procedure
• Manage and supervise financial accounting, tax and compliance activities
• Develop reliable global cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs to the company

You are a passionate and all-rounder financial professional with high leadership skills and strong tenacity. You are highly result oriented and possess high solution solving skills. You have a good level of strategic thinking with sound operational knowledge and a hands-on attitude. You have excellent presentation skills.

• University degree in Finance or equivalent
• +7 years financial experience, within an international environment and day-to-day financial operations management
• Sound technical skills high analytical capabilities
• International accounting skills
• Strong system, process and best practices experience
• Software experience is a strong plus
• Previous people management experience is a plus
• Are fluent in French and English, any other language is a plus
