System Analyst at Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF)

Duration: 3month’s Contract

Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium (Kenya Supply Unit) is looking to fill the position of a System Analyst. The selected candidate will report to the General Manager for daily supervision. He/she will be responsible for ensuring a clear view of the ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) best suited for KSU for the short, medium and long term. In particular the programs best suited for Warehouse Management – Procurement – Customer ordering Interface.

Objectives:

S/he will perform the following main tasks, among others:-

• Review the capabilities of Nodhos (Supply /Procurement System), report on the limitations and capabilities of the product in comparison to other internal/external systems.
• Review the capabilities of Unifield (Supply/Finance System), report on the limitations and capabilities of the product in comparison to other internal/external systems.
• Advise on the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution for the following 5 years.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or related studies.
• Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in ICT Management Systems & Knowledge of the humanitarian field.
• Skills/ Competences: Good knowledge of Warehouse Management, Procurement, Customer Ordering Systems & reporting skills.
• Strengths required: Diplomacy, culturally sensitive, patience, proactive, flexible and attentive to details, organized, and a team  player.
• Language: Proficiency in written and oral English & Swahili.
