ECD Teacher at Kradle Kindergarten

The Kradle school is expanding it’s team of teaching staff and is seeking to recruit a motivated ECD teacher as well as volunteers/aspiring teachers needing teaching practice experience. The Kradle School is located in the serene and safe Police SACCO 1 in Kitengela.

The Kradle School is seeking an ECD teacher with foundational knowledge or training in the new competency based 2-6-3-3 curriculum. The desirable person should have passion working with children and have experience in facilitating extra-curriculum activities.

Job Responsibilities 

• Undertake teaching and work with other teachers to develop learning material
• As the centre grows and expands, working with other staff to market the school and provide community outreach
• Developing scheme of work and lesson plans
• Facilitating extra-curriculum activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in early childhood education, specifically in early years and primary school
• ECD Diploma or relevant early childhood education.
• Ability to handle variably-abled children will be an added advantage.

Mandatory

• Teachers Service Commission TSC certificate/registration
• Demonstrable ability to develop schemes of work and undertake learner assessment
• Certificate of good conduct
• Recommendation from previous employer, preferably a former or current immediate supervisor
