Legal Secretary at Oenga Law Firm

LEGAL SECRETARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SHALL INCLUDE;

• File, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents
• Process third party and vendor invoices
• Greeting and receiving clients and visitors and answering visitor inquiries
• Receive incoming calls and accurately route calls to the correct staff
• Take minutes during meetings and dictation from Advocates
• Attend to clients and provide advice to clients as may be directed by the Advocate

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION;

• Paralegal Certificate or diploma of any related field.
• Previous experience as legal secretary will be added advantage
• Knowledge of constitution, legal terminology, regulations and court system
• Outstanding communication skills, time-management and typing skills
• Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
• Ability to use MS Office and ability to work with legal technology
• At least 1 years’ experience in a busy law firm undertaking secretarial work
