Job Description

Reports To: Nursing School Principal

Responsibilities:

• Teaching in classrooms
• Planning assignments and assessments
• Act as an examiner / assessor for students
• Supervising research proposals
• Participate in clinical teaching in the clinical areas to trainee
• Evaluate academic progress of students, record findings and devise action plans where necessary
• Organization of internal examinations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Nursing (BSN) and not less than two (2) years’ experience in teaching.
• Valid practice license from Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
• Nursing Council of Kenya Certificate.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Morally upright and a God fearing person.
• Good team player.
• Group facilitation skills an added advantage.
