The Director will be reporting to Chief Officer. Medical Services

Duties and responsibilities

• Overall coordination of medical services in all County Hospitals and private Health facility within the County.
• Management and development of various cadres of human resources
• Coordination of all outreach activities and services in the County.
• Designing and undertaking relevant operational research for data and decision making.
• Analyzing and utilizing research findings in planning activities to improve Health service delivery in the facility and or region at large.
• Perform any other assignments may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment

• Must be a Kenyan citizen
• Degree in relevant technical area (Medicine/Public Health).
• Should have served at the level of Deputy Director for at least three (3) years in public service or equivalent in other sectors.
• Demonstrate professional competence and managerial capability in health sector.
• Must be in possession of a Masters Degree in Public Health/Medicine Must have a Certificate in Senior Leadership Development programme or its equivalent
• Must be registered with the relevant professional body
• Must be computer literate.
• Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
