Roles

• Provide anesthesia services for patients undergoing Surgical
• Planning anesthesia services through thorough review of patients pre, intra and post operatively
• Ensure quality and safety of all anesthetic medical activities
• Organize and oversee the operating room at the hospital.
• Ensure safe and efficient storage and use of resources including equipment.
• Monitoring, evaluation and reporting of Medical activities in operating room.
• Ensure adherence to the established and approved guidelines and practice.
• Ensure successfully recovery of patients who have undergone Surgery.

Job Qualifications

• Be a Kenyan citizen.
• Be a holder of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) degree from an institution that is recognized in Kenya.
• Master of Medicine degree in Anesthesia from a University recognized in Kenya
• Must be registered by the Kenya Medical practitioners and Dentists Board.
• Valid Professional Practice License
• A valid practice license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
• Must have good interpersonal and Communication skills.
• Specialist Recognition as an anesthesiologist desirable
