Assistant Chefs at Nova Pioneer

Nova Pioneer is looking for passionate Assistant Chefs to prepare and cook meals for our students and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Daily meals preparation and cooking.
• Maintaining hygiene in the kitchen.
• Implementing and leading the food safety program.
• Monitoring workplace safety inspections.
• Monitoring utilities and maintenance needs.
• Facilitating unit team meetings.
• Approving food and non-food store requisitions.
• Collecting meal data for and reporting to the Sous Chef.
• Coordinating events and catering functions with respective schools.
• Any other duty that will be assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate in Food Production.
• Knowledge of Food safety and Hygiene.
• Two years working experience in schools.
• Computer literate.
