Replenishment Manager at Builders: Warehouse, Express, Trade Depot

Functions / responsibilities:

• Must be fluent in English and Swahili
• To manage the entire store stock portfolio in terms of Replenishment
• Ensure that sales opportunities & profits are maximised for each Rand invested in inventory (GMROI) & for each square metre of available selling space (GMROM)
• Maintain optimum stock levels
• Monitor & take action to rectify negative stocks
• Manage, process & vet all orders placed
• Achieve required margin percentage
• Monitor, analyse & recommend corrective action on margin
• Manage promotional stock as well as Plan & execute in-store promotions
• Measure & record promotional activity & performance
• Maintain and build supplier relationships
• Evaluate & give feedback on supplier performance
• Analyse, identify opportunities/ concerns & provide timely recommendations & feedback to relevant role-players
• Prepare and plan for buyers’ visits
• Compile & distribute month end reports
• Monitor and generate sales
• Analyse, identify opportunities/ concerns and provide timely recommendations and feedback to relevant role-players
• Attend training and product launches
• Drive and develop key relationships with relevant stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Lead, manage and develop people
• MUST BE KENYA CITIZEN

Requirements:

• KCSE certificate (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education)
• A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/ Procurement Management/ Purchasing/ Logistics
• 3 – 5 years of retail/FMCG stock or warehousing management experience (specific exposure to buying/ planning/ inventory/ replenishment management essential)
• Computer literate in MS Word, Excel (intermediate-master level) and Outlook
• SAP + BI proficiency
• Proven analytical ability
• Proven ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations
• Proven ability to decide and initiate action
• Proven track record in achieving personal work goals and objectives
• Proven ability to persuade and influence
