    Accountant - Ecommerce Startup

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that processes and controls are followed, in line with company policy
    • Recording of expenses and accrual of non-invoiced expenses
    • Review accounting work, particularly in recording in the accounting system, sales and bank reconciliation, and payment reports
    • Take responsibility for implementing controls and processes that don't exist yet
    • Ensure payroll is processed on time and reviewed after management review and approval
    • Ensure compliance with all tax and statutory requirements
    • Oversee the month-end close process

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or CPA
    • At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an e-commerce environment
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and can work independently
