    Accountant

    Reporting to the Conservancy Manager and with a close working relationship with the NRT finance Department team, the Conservancy Accountant will be responsible for: –

    • Coordination of the day-to-day activities of the finance department,
    • Leading and guiding the reporting process,
    • Ensuring compliance with the conservancy financial policy as well as statutory financial requirements
    • Ensuring prudent management of donor funds.
    • Ensuring conservancy operations are running smoothly and effectively.

    Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / Finance or any other related field.
    • At least a CPA Part II qualification.
    • Registration with ICPACK will be an added advantage.
    • A minimum of three years relevant post qualification work experience.
    • Hands-on knowledge and experience in computerized accounting preferably sage and quick books.
    • Good financial management skills.
    • Excellent people management skills.
    • Good report writing skills.
    • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
