Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or its equivalent from a recognized institution
• CPA Part I or in progress
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Computer literate
• Meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare payment vouchers and monitor payments to creditors
• Enter financial data and maintain accounting records
• Prepare imprest, journal vouchers, and petty cash
• Capture institution income and expenses accurately
• Prepare and issue invoices or fee statements for tuition, accommodation, and other charges
• Track unpaid student fees and follow up on overdue payments
• Reconcile student accounts and receivable balances with the general ledger
• Prepare reports on outstanding receivables, collections, and bad debts
