    Accounts Assistant - (Real Estate and Property Management)

    Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Assistant to support their finance function. This role suits a professional with strong accounting knowledge and a hands-on approach to financial operations to ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations
    • Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
    • Support preparation of financial statements
    • Manage invoicing and accounts receivable/payable Ensure timely statutory filings (VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
    • Handle tax compliance including rental income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and capital gains Identify and resolve discrepancies
    • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
    • Support audits and liaise with auditors and regulators

    Qualifications

    • 2-3 years of accounting experience
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
    • Knowledge of tax obligations, preferably in real
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting estate/property management
    • High accuracy and attention to detail
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
